I have been going to Red Barn over the past 10 years across their different locations, and today had a totally unpleasant... experience at the James Bay location. I decided to place an online order (for the first time), so as to avoid the lineups atlunch, and specified the time to pick up was 1-1:30, and made a special note to not chill after grilling - because i know thewraps can get soggy. As a side note, I am vegan, and was happy to be able to select vegan mayo/cheese from the online menu(reason for the 2 stars). I picked my wrap up at 1:15, and walked all the way back to my office, finally opening the bag to seethe wrap was sealed with a giant "MEAT" sticker. At that point, I was slightly annoyed, but figured not a huge deal, they musthave given me the wrong sandwich, so I walk all the way back to the store. Getting to the counter, I explain the "MEAT" stickeron a wrap that should have been vegan - and the girl behind the counter, without skipping a beat - "Well did you open it andcheck??" ..To which I responded, "um, no?" WHY would I open a sandwich that is labeled with a giant MEAT sticker?? As a veganfor over 15 years, do you think I'd want to eat anything labeled that way? The sight and smell of rotting flesh makes menauseous - so no, I took the label at face value. So the deli clerk proceeds to open the wrap, then reseals it with a "WRAP"sticker, and hands it back and says, "It is the right sandwich - and be sure to check next time!" So, now this is MY fault? Howabout be sure to label your sandwiches correctly? How about getting some "VEGAN" stickers in stock? How about not blaming thecustomer for your mistakes? Now a lot more annoyed, I walk all the way back to my office, finally open the wrap and take 2 bitesout of it - it is an ice cold, completely soggy mess, the wrap wouldnt even stay in tact, was just dripping and falling apart(like had been made hours prior to me picking it up) and a tomato falls out, nearly lands on my white shirt (noting Read more

Red Barn is amazing! They have amazing staff, great fruits and vegetables selection, and the best sandwich bar in town!
