My partner and I are regulars here, we come multiple times a month. Yesterday we were in the area and had time to in between... our arrands. We stopped in for a quick lunch, my partner and son ran into the dollar store while I got a table as it was busy.When I was seated the woman who ALWAYS seats us asked me why I was at a table for 4. I explained because my partner and son wereon there way. I then asked to place my order and the woman followed with "is your son going to eat"? I said "probably not as hejust ate but he will have tea" she then went on "is he bringing outside food in" I replied "no" she went on and on with allthese questions until I finally asked "is this going to be a problem" this conversation carried on for at least 5 min. She spokevery loudly and it was very embarrassing for me. My partner and I were just there 5 days ago and are there quite often. She mademe feel like I was doing something wrong stopping in for a quick lunch before going to visit my war vet grandfather onremembrance day. After this I will NEVER go back to this restaurant. I have never been so humiliated by a waitress ever. I justwanted to get up and leave but I was so embarrassed that I just sat there. Shame you for being so rude! Read more
My family absolutely loved our meal here including the 10 year old. The bbq pork in particular is delicious (as recommended by... our super kind server - thank you!) and all 3 of us were loving the big spring rolls that were both crunchy and chewy. We evenordered an extra ($6.75) The pho wasn't super complex but it was clean, tasty, and warmed the soul on a particularly chillynight. Entrees rang in around $17 each and were well worth it. Overly expensive pho noodle soup with exceptionally bad service. My son and I decided to eat at this restaurant after seeing a... late movie. We were there 30 mins before closing and i was told only take-out orders were available. We ordered and took our $18soup and ate it outside. As I sat there I saw them seat a couple and they were allowed to eat in the restaurant. I went in toask how come my 3yr old and i were not allowed to sit in the empty restaurant and the excuse was that this couple had reserved atable in advance. Terrible service with zero compassion. Pros: food was pleasant and hot. Food came quick. Price is expected. Cons: felt like an inconvenience, terrible service. Didn't... speak up because I figured she didn't want me there anyways. I am quite unsure of my visit at 4pm. I walked in and requestedto sit in, and the waitress kind of "huffed" at that. So I sat and she gave me a menu. She brought me a water and asked me if Iwas ready and I was. So that cool. But I tried to order the Pho tossed noodle bowl ( 31G )and she tried to talk me out of it andtold me to order something she pointed to, which didn't even have the same protien options. The protiens I wanted were beefballs, tripe, and brisket. So I ordered what I wanted and she didn't seem to be OK with that and asked if I was sure becauseit's "blanched" meat and the other is "char". So does she not like the food??? Then she grabbed the menu and walked away beforeI could even order a drink. The food came hot, and within 5 minutes of ordering. So that was great. I like the meal. But againshe never came to double check everything was good. I don't expect much from service but the double check is kind of a must inmy books, I would have loved a drink. So I ate as fast as I could so I no longer had to inconvenience them. I don't think Iwill be back. Her tone was very cold towards me and I felt like an inconvenience. Food was good.
