Normally I do not leave reviews but it seems there is no direct contact email for this place. My boyfriend and I were on our way... home from Algonquin and absolutely starving. We decided to make a safe choice and go to Boston Pizza in Vaughn as Boston pizzais usually quite good. We went on thanksgiving Monday and the place was nearly empty (maybe 5-7cars total for dining and bar).The front desk staff were very friendly and we were seated promptly right near the kitchen area therefore we can see everything.The booth was filthy with crumbs on the seats and table and just a mess on the floor. There was even an entire pizza crust whichI kicked slightly away from our table as I didn’t want to step in it and have it stuck to my shoes. That crust sat there allnight as almost every staff member walked by. After about a 10 minute wait we finally got a server who slowly walked over to ourtable, didn’t introduce herself and seemed as though we were waisting her time. We were very hungry and already knew what wewanted so we ordered as soon as she got there. We ordered an app and waters along with our meal. When she brought the watersover after some time she forgot straws and had to go back. When she came back she tossed the straws at us and walked awaywithout a word. The football game was on in the bar and people could be heard having a good time but the manager looked to havequite the attitude as she was storming back and forth from the kitchen area. About 30 min after we ordered our app I was gettingfrustrated as we only ordered the bandera bread which should be quick to come out. The waitress who’s name I still did notknow had walked by several times without checking in or updates and I could not get her attention whatsoever. It seemed that shewas purposely ignoring us as she would put her head down or look the other way while passing our table. We noticed that few Boston Pizza shops have been offering bugs and cheese in their kids menu, and we were happy to see that this... location had it! The waitress was outstanding!!! She was beyond our expectations by paying attention to every single detail andacting on it. I have not seen that for a long time!!! She made a joke to my daughter about the kids menu and that was thebeginning of a perfect dinner. She treated my daughter as a princess!!! Food was amazing and it was served pretty fast. Started with an order of wings, asked for fried, they were baked, the veggies that were put on the plate looked quite old with... browning on the edges of the celery. Got a steak and asked for medium well, it came in well done and extremely dry. Hadseasonal veggies, got brocolli and it was very undercooked. It was basically raw. The cheesy garlic bread was awesome. We dideat the food because we were hungry but it was a big let down. The manager did seem to offer us a small discount, we did eatthe food so that was fair. Hi, usually I am not picky person, but my experience at this location was very bad. I went to Rutherford location on 07 July... 2022, and we ask for patio table. We were second table in patio. We ordered two Ginger ales and Calamari and small pizza BBQchicken, when we get the pizza we noticed there is hair attached to pizza, I couldn't find our server so I asked another serverto take food back and replace it. After 5 to 7 min, instead manager which should handle this cases, our server came back andsaid sorry we make another for you. It took more than 25 min to get the replace pizza, our drinks were low so I asked our serverto refill it. She got 2 another tables and totally forgot about us. She was keep going to check those tables, but never cameback to check us and she never brought us our drinks. We even asked to make pizza in half bacon, but we noticed in replace pizzaall pizza had bacon. I am so disappointed about food and service of server. Fantastic Boston Pizza location. Service and professionalism are excellent here. During extremely busy dinner service, from... taking our name to the end of our meal, customer service was just great. Food was good. Wait time was decent considering howbusy it was (Saturday night 6pm full parking lot). The manager checked on us to make sure our evening was going well. Buthonestly our server, Elsa, deserves the praise for the night. My family only came to this location once before (maybe a monthago) also during a very busy dinner service and she remembered us right away. She catered to all our needs and checked on usthroughout the night despite how busy it was. She took care of everything we needed before we needed to ask. It made the nightso much easier for us especially with our children and that means a lot. I definitely recommend this location to anyone and myfamily will certainly come back here again. Read more
