Our first Japanese BBQ experience and it was awesome. Something different than the usual places and a fun meal for a few family... birthdays! The food was absolutely delicious, it was easy for everyone to find things they enjoyed regardless of dietaryrequirements and the service was top notch. Things we loved the most: smokeless grill, hangar steak, garlic noodles, sakecocktails and s'mores. Super fun atmosphere, friendly and attentive server and really affordable prices. Don't let the WestBroadway construction put you off. We're from outside the city and we navigated in and found parking easily, even on a Saturdaynight. Would go again in a heartbeat! Read more
Gyu-Kaku is always one my favourites places to visit with friends and family as they have some of the best BBQ meats and side... dishes and great service! The meats are always fresh and delicious and the experience of cooking alongside your friends isalways nice. The sauces are always nice to pair with the meats and their house salad that comes with most of their main sets isalso really yummy. A personal favourite definitely has to be their beef sukiyaki bibimpbap! Would definitely come again! Read more
Very fun cook your self japenese style bbq. Recommend ordering one of their dinner combos where they bring you a preset menu for... you to grill on your table. Also highly recommend getting s'mores at the end. Favorite dishes: all the meat, s'mores, the soupthat comes with the dinner combos (spicy veggie broth). Definitely recommend making a reservation as the place is busy, but itwas an absolute blast with a group. Total cost per person was ~$50 but we were all absolutely stuffed. Will definitely return. Japanese BBQ had little differences with Korean. Gave Gyu downtown’s restaurant a call but no one answered the phone. So I... changed to Gyu on west Broadway. Meat was go great and delicious. Read more
