My server Carolina was very friendly and attentive and gave us amazing recommendations that suited what me and my wife usually... like to drink. Sure. The server, who was very nice, kept forgetting about almost everything we asked for. Would regularly start talking to... other staff only to look over at us in a panic and then rush to grab our stuff. Pretty much happened every time. Although the 1star isn't for what was written above, it's for my wifes bathroom experience..... Two stalls, one of which the lock was brokenor didn't work. She used the other one only to find there was no TP. She then wobbled to the other one to find it had noneeither.... this was at 5pm on a Saturday. Maybe check your bathroom before the nightly rush. We went there for cocktails, we ask for the cucumber gin with tonic. The services was great and not crowded as other places... nearby Granville. I think this is a great place to chill and also take advantage of the patio that hey have. Aside from thecocktails, they have a variety of draft beers. I recommend the pilsner. They don't offer parking but as they are in a buddy areait's easy to get a cab or request Lyft/Uber. Read more

I attended this venue for an event on Friday, November 18th. I was extremely disgusted by the person who scanned our IDs, she... was dirty blonde and had curly hair. She was bluntly racist and made mockery of my friends name. In fact, on the way out sheasked for her ID again and she obviously did not give it to her. The male bouncer, was extremely kind when she refused to andtold her to not bother. As a business, this should not be tolerated and having an employee that is racist is very unacceptable.I hope Cinema Public House disciplines this employee and instills proper training to prevent this from happening in the future.You should be ashamed to have an employee like this.
