Tried the dan dan noodles and it was delicious! Really big portions, good price, and their chili oil is so good. I had leftovers... and it tasted even better the next day. Definitely coming back to try more! Read more

We ordered three noodle soups, a dry- fried french bean and some spring rolls some sort of pork pancake and dumplings for the... table. They soups were all tasteless, mine had only a few pieces of brisket. Left it almost untouched and would not recommendit. It's been almost the worst experience I had in that neighbourhood. The spring rolls and dumplings were okay. One of friendordered a french been dish which I tried and it was very tasty. The waitress was very nice and helpful. Definitely won't goback. Read more

Newly found favorite! Ordered through Uber, loved the taste and went for dine-in. Not a single dish that disappointed so far!... Can't wait to go back to try more on the menu! Signature Lan-zhou noodles - with flavorful soup base and plenty ofwell-marinated beed! Cumin lamb (picture) - strong cumin taste and lots of cilantro for added flavor! The cumin lamb stir frynoodles is equally amazing! Taiwanese salted pepper chicken - crunchy outside and juicy flavorful inside with a generous amountof basil! Cucumber salad - crunchy and fresh with sesame vinegar sauce and minced garlic, yum.... Read more

We went to check out: Kung Fu Noodles on 5615 Harold St ( east from Joyce on the south side of Kingsway) I know ...when I first... heard the name I thought it was cheesy too. With a name like KUNG FU noodles I wanted to saunter in their door..... to challengetheir martial skills of Wok Style Kung Fu. Parking: Lots beside the restaurant. A big lot that covers the two restaurants andother establishments there. Food: Great! Northern Chinese specialties .That being said , their sweet and sour pork is the bestI've had in the longest time! This is ironically, being a Southern Chinese dish. They did it properly! It was deep fried andthen the fresh pineapple flavor sauce went over it! Piping hot when your teeth meets the morsels! The steam from the hot deepfried pork can be felt inside the roofs of your mouth as you carry the meat into it's destiny. Most places in greater Vancouverjust a re-fried of the pork if that, slap some sweet n sour sauce on it , ring the bell for pick up and clean the wok. Price:Good not expensive. Place: Clean. I haven't check the washroom though. Service: Very good. Quiet guy but attentive. We did theDAN DAN NOODLES , a Northern specialty. I'm generally not into that peanut sauce thingy but this was fab man!! Again we wereexpecting a thick peanutty sauce like places who serve these type of dishes but this was amazingly balanced! The peanut saucewas a perfect principle actor, and the supporting cucumber couldn't do a better job! The hero noodles slurped up beautifullywith perfect texture! It was the perfect text book scene from a food show! We had the special of the day and it came with a dishof Chinese style gyozas! Saiko being Japanese, said it was like a Japanese style, with the thinner covering. We dipped theseever so delicately into the dark vinegar that is a must to pair it with. The with our wooden chopsticks we would dab somechill paste on it. The chili paste, typical of the Chinese from the North , had bits of crunchy ch Read more
