Definitely one of the best brunch spots we've been to We arrived around 930ish am and a line of 10 or so was already formed.... Indoor space is small but also had a few tables outside. The hostess asked the line if anyone wanted to sit outside, we decidedto sit outside and thus got our table immediately Everything on menu sounds amazing Ended up starting with the Irish coffeeand rum chai latte. Both were delicious and you could definitely taste the alcohol (yay!). Unfortunately there were no beers ontap, only bottles. I had the blue Buffalo Benny which was amazing. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked and had a good meatysubstance to it. Took the eggs soft poached (they offered soft/med/hard poach) and the Buffalo sauce was perfectly paired withthe blue cheese and the pickled radish garnish. Very very good. Wife had a sweeter dish which was the fat Elvis but subbedpancakes instead of waffles. The peanut butter, banana, bacon and maple syrup paired very well together. Pancakes were fluffy. Alittle sweet for me but wife loved it. Overall great experience. Expect to pay about $20 per main before tax/tip, so not yourcheap bfast place but worth every dollar. Read more

We all know Jam Cafe by now! We called ahead and were given an accurate line wait time of ~30min. First time trying the Fat... Elvis Waffle & Later Tater Bowl, both were amazing!! The Fat Elvis was 10/10. We ordered the bottomless coffee and a side oftater tots (the portions were impressive). The Charlie Bowl is definitely not a dish you can tackle alone and was quite heavy,so be warned. The Chicken & French Toast was good, but the least favorite of the table. It was more toast than chicken but stillgood nonetheless. Service was good - they were very prompt with refilling waters and coffee, even after we were finished withour food :) Read more

The wait times are worth it. We went on a Sunday, and Google said it wasn't that busy, but we did wait 30-40 min. They had some... outdoor tables setup along the sidewalk and we got seated faster because we opted for that while those in front of us didn't.The traffic is sparse here and the tables are far enough away from the line outside, so sitting outside on a bright Sundaymorning was peaceful. Service and food was delicious. We have gone to the Kitsilano location many times and this one just oursecond time, but both locations are great! Read more

Jam Cafe has become my all time favorite Brunch place. Jam Cafe serves delicious, hearty and fulfilling dishes which were full... of flavors. The price is reasonable considering the quality, portions and taste of the food that were served. I highly recommendthe Pork Belly Benny as the savory dish as the pork belly is very nicely cooked with amazing sauces. I have never had an eggbenny as good as this one. As for the sweet dish, please order the cinnamon bun pancakes.. they were so fluffy and sweet toperfection. As for waiting, my team and I waited about 50 minutes to be seated. We arrived at the restaurant at around 9 am onMonday morning. The restaurant itself is small with tables that are placed pretty closed to each other. It is a busy and popularplace where customers are coming in constantly. But Jam Cafe is totally worth the wait to have the best Brunch experience inVancouver. Outdoor tables (where we sat) are placed across from the line of customers waiting although it did feel quieter andfeels less packed. Overall, our stomach and appetites were fully satisfied and filled! Read more

We always love to try highly recommended breakfast spots in new places, and, boy, did we score a WIN this morning in Vancouver,... BC on Beatty Street?a 5 minute walk from our AirBnB in a very walkable part of the city. It was set to be an unusual 93 degreeday so we opted for an outside table while it was still cool and breezy. The menu featured an extensive number of unusual dishes(see photos), and they did not disappoint! Let me talk about the hostess, Sara, and our waitress, Sophia, first. FIVE star!Lovely young ladies, friendly and efficient, settled us in and provided swift service with a smile. Jam Cafe, do you know howfortunate you are to have them? Give them some love today! ???? We received more than we expected when our food arrived, bothin quantity and taste. I enjoyed the Buffalo Blue Benny, the BEST eggs Benedict I have ever tasted, a complex fusion of thecreamy egg, pickled cabbage, blue cheese and Buffalo sauce atop perfectly crusted fried chicken. A PERFECTION in the comfortfood category. My family would beg to disagree, as they said theirs (friend chicken and waffles and fried chicken Benedict) wasthe best! Pix attached, people?one of my favorite breakfasts in all of my world travels. Truly! ???? Read more
