Always enjoy coming to The Victor. We live very close by so this is our go to place. The food is great, the service is... excellent. They’ll go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The waiters are professional and very competent. Surendraand Christian have been our waiters plenty of times and they’re always very nice and friendly. Miles the bartender is alsogreat. The managers are also super nice they always take time to come to our tables to say hello and chat. We feel very welcomedhere. We also love the ambience and the live music. Read more
Overall, such a wonderful experience and the service was impeccable! The appetizers were amazing, the oyster was so good! The... porter house was cooked to perfection! Comparing to some other high end restaurants, I really liked this place. The menu did nottry to impress you with fancy names only. However, when you eat each meal, you know the chef knows the flavours they put on thisplace and their harmony. We definitely will be back here. Read more
Great steak restaurant!! Easily rivals any top notch steakhouses in Vancouver and I've been to all of them (Gotham, Hy's, Atlas,... Elisa etc.). Had Thomas as our waiter who was extremely personable and attentive. Its always nice when you don't have to askfor refills of your drinks and comes around just enough to check on you but not hovering. I also noticed and appreciated themanager who came over to say hello and offer something like juice to our little one. Ambience is very nice. Roomy enough,tables were well spaced out so you didn't feel crowded and wasn't too loud. Ordered the rib cap steak as well as the cowboysteak. Both were delicious! Onion rings were only okay unfortunately as the batter did not stick to the onion so it was bit ofa mess eating them. Appreciated the birthday dessert at the end! Would recommend and come back! Venue: Lively, fun, nice decor, moderate lighting. Staff: Superb, attentive, timed their approaches well, friendly. Food: Fairly... decent. The lobster bisque was rich and creamy. The tartare was so good I wanted more. The steak was tender and cooked to myliking (medium rare). The desserts weren’t overly sweet which I enjoyed. Drinks: Stiff and made right. Large steakhouse with great city views and a great wine selection. All food was well in order, cooked perfectly and served by a... knowledgeable wait staff. Reservations were easy to come by and the people watching was great plus too. A must-go for an awesomedate night. Read more
