Nothing special and a very basic cafe. Their apple pie was very disappointing. Definitely not worth the price for such a small... portion and something I?d be able to get at a supermarket for a cheaper price, bigger size and same taste. Read more

Great location and ambience with below issues; - long time waiting for having your order, although they gave us a delicious... berry pie for compensating we almost died as it took more than 1:50 minutes to come. - coffee was small and only one size -very nice and supportive staff - delicious food - very delicious pies and cakes in their opposite branch???????? Aphrodite?s founder, Allan Christian, after dedicating the majority of his adult life to the corporate business world in... downtown Vancouver, in the early '90's Allan found himself at a crossroads and elected to leave the corporate world behind. ?After exploring his entrepreneurial spirit for a few years, he found himself returning to his roots at an organic farm in BC'sFraser Valley. ?? During a visit to the farm by Allan?s mother, they baked pies together with the organic heritage apples thathad fallen from trees in the orchard. This simple activity sparked an idea that would soon become a successful business, andeventually grow into a community of people committed to sustainable, local, organic products. ?Aphrodites was founded in 2003and has 2 shops including a restaurant and a pie shop across each other at 4th & Dunbar. ??????? The staff is really nice &supportive and and try to make a good experience for you. * As an organic cafe, the prices are higher than similar cafe andrestaurants. ???? Their multigrain bread and buns are handmade daily from scratch Brunch recommandations: * Aphrodite?sBreakfast $23.95 ** Green Eggs & Ham $20 *** Blackberry & apple pie ?? Pies are a must-try option. Almost no sugar and reallytasty. ? Have to wait more than normal times for the food to be prepared. (We had an 70-minute delay & they apologized and madeup with a free pie). ???? Enjoy! Read more

My wife and I had lunch today here. I ordered the green egg & ham, my wife ordered the ham & egger. The food came and it was... lovely, everything was going fine at first. The food, as always, tasted good. Mid way through our meal, I found a staple in myegg omelet. I immediately let our server know. She apologized and offered to waive that item from our bill. The kitchen alsore-made my egg omelet for me. The situation was resolved, and I was happy to resume my meal. When we finished our meal, ourserver brought over the bill and we found out that instead of waiving the item from our bill, they were giving us 10% offinstead. I felt surprised but said nothing, my wife paid the bill and we left. We were confused and disappointed since therewas clearly a communication issue here. This was likely a decision from the restaurant management. In any event, we felt we wereowed an explanation that was never given. Read more
