A little pricey for the portion size, but delicious nonetheless. We opted to order a la carte in order to try more dishes and... enjoyed every one we ordered. The ingredients were well chosen and very tasty, you could tell that the chef thought about eachdish and wasn’t trying to throw a bunch of ingredients/flavors that only sounded good together (which I find happens commonlywith Asian fusion). The service and atmosphere was wonderful, and we will definitely return to try their new menus! Read more

Went to PiDGiN as a group of 4 and grabbed the tasting menu (which frequently changes) for 3 and some of the A5 Wagyu beef.... Unlike other "fine dining" restaurants, the meal is served on one plate for everyone and shared. It makes for a typical Asianexperience where the food is communal and split, but of course with a more high end flare. As a group of Asian bros, it was niceand a fun experience. Tasting menu was amazing and a ton of fun to eat. Incredible variety in the dishes and we were alwaysexcited to see what would come out next. Service came at a reasonable pace and the server was great. The A5 Wagyu was quitefrankly the best bite of meat I'd ever had and a worthy experience if you have the disposable income and have never had itbefore. Obviously, $100 for a few small pieces of meat is a huge expense and not something one should regularly indulgein. Only regrettable thing is the location, which has been getting increasingly sketchy as of late, but once inside you aretransported elsewhere and forget. Thanks for the great evening and meal. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing at PiDGiN while in Vancouver recently and absolutely loved the experience. Ryan is... truly passionate about wine and food and it shows - his enthusiasm made the visit that much better and we probably could havechatted his ear off all night! Angela is also a huge asset to the restaurant and they made our experience so memorable. Brandon- you have a wonderful team in these two! Thanks everyone for such a nice time, delicious fresh, local food and incredible wineand sake that we savored the whole way through. Read more

A friend and I went to multiple highly rated restaurants in or around downtown Vancouver during our time here. While I won't... name the other restaurants, you can quickly find their names on many "must visit" restaurant lists. Pidgin was the last of themand after our meal at the chef's counter, we both agreed that it had been the best by far. Pidgin's sense of what they wanted toserve us was comprehensive and creative. While other restaurant dishes were well prepared, they lacked the cohesive element thatmade our eyes light up at the first bite and left us wanting more when each plate was cleaned. The optional pairing wasenjoyable and included Cocktails, wine and sake. When I expressed some reluctance about the sake, Angela was happy toaccommodate and swap my pairings to wine instead. Angela, Paul, Ruben and Harrison ensured we had a great time and we lookforward to visiting again the next time we are in Vancouver. Read more

Pidgin has been on my restaurant hit list for years. I finally experienced the tasting menu last night. The experience is meant... to be shared amongst two but they did an excellent job tailoring the menu for me as a solo diner. The rabbit terrine and thezucchini squash blossoms were two standout dishes for me within the menu. The food, staff, and service were all top notch and Ithink it’s a fantastic deal for the quality of food experienced. The wine pairing is definitely worth the money with a varietyof locally and internationally sourced wines. Definitely will be planning to come back and try the other proteins I missed outon.
