Really liked the freshness of the ingredients used by the restaurant. The salmon sashimi was likely to be my most favourite. My... critique for this restaurant would mainly just be the portion sizes, it's very small for it's price so be prepared to eatslightly beforehand or get a snack after. Read more
They have a good selection of food, as well as awesome combos. The space had comfortable seating and was nice for conversation.... Food was nicely flavored and served in a reasonable amount of time. However, service was subpar. Three different people came toour table, one of which was very dismissive and had poor communication skills. For instance, when I asked for tea or water, theperson mumbled something and walked away. When we asked a question about the food we were met with something along the lines of"I don't know, go ask those people". At the end, I asked for the bill and it took much longer than was needed, withoutexplanation. A different person ended up bringing the bill. We were considering ordering more food but the service deterred us.I get it if the person was on training or new, but that would have been nice to know. Read more
We came tonight for our second dining experience, and although the food was good, the service was terrible. Our edamame was... first delivered to the wrong table. We ordered a side of tempura shrimp but they brought a dynamite roll instead. It tookforever for it to come out after that. There was a hair in my daughter's roll and with very little apology, they brought a newone out. We had to flag the wait staff down for water, to order and for the bill. When the bill came, I noticed they chargedfull price. My husband had to point out that we shouldn't have to pay for the kappa roll since it came with hair in it - justthe principal of it all as most restaurants wouldn't charge for improperly made dishes. Love sushi Aji! Hadn’t been in a while but went tonight for dinner. I had the Forest Roll which is amazing! Yam tempura,... avocado, cucumber, and topped with gomae, all my favourites in one roll, it tastes delicious! Also really enjoyed the spicyagedashi tofu. It was nice eating in as the glassware is beautiful authentic Japanese. My partner had the bento box D with beef.Highly recommend coming here. Nice that they are open until 9. Read more

Great price and portions, sushi is decent but nothing special. You can choose 3 items and a miso soup for $14.25. My reason for... 2 star is because the customer service is not very good. The waiter does not seem to care at all about the customers and ourfood took a total of 45 minutes to arrive which is way too long for a sushi roll. I understand that this place is very busy withtake out orders but sitting for that long waiting for food is frustrating. Read more
