Amazing! What a gem tucked in Kitsilano! The food was so good; so much flavour; so much experience. Would highly recommend doing... the Chai Feast?tasting menu that amounts to unlimited small dishes from a large variety. The service is phenomenal, especiallyfor a place that offers this type of eating experience. The staff were wonderful and the live music was a great time. Gotta tryit! Read more
Delicious Afghanistan food with live music and super friendly service. If you?re looking for bigger portion food (unlimited... refill), definitely come check them out. Highly recommend their signature dish call Chai Feast that you can pick: 1 salad 1soup 2 mains Come with rice and nan, also unlimited refill. It is a very beautiful restaurant which has an earthy vibe. I just love the way they have decorated the restaurant in all... Nature theme. There is a live music which is very beautiful and it is chargeable $3 per guest . But It is worth it. It is amust visit restaurant. Read more
I?ve ordered food from here before and it was delicious, so I went to try it in person. I brought my partner here for dinner and... we both thought the food and atmosphere were great. Our food came quickly, but otherwise the service was bad. Our water didn?tget refilled and the check was extremely slow. We waited for over half an hour as waiters chatted behind the bar. East is East is an unforgettable experience. The love music and the decor made it feels so cozy and welcoming. The food was all... incredible. I loved so many different dishes. Just a heads up they charge $3 per person for the music, which $3 is definitelyworth it. I just think they should tell people that. Read more
