Spanish tapas? Go to Chinatown. My girlfriend and I were looking for a new place to explore and came across this place. It's a... small place, with large share tables, tables for 4, and a large bar seating area. There is a large bar with a fun cocktail andwine list. My girlfriend had a pineapple puree margarita, we shared some sangria, and they have Estrella beer. The flavors wereprecise and the presentation was beautiful. We had a octopus and cutle fish on a saffron turmeric rice which was outstanding.They are known for pintixos which is a crusty bread with various toppings of meat, cheese, and seafood. We shared 5 differentones. We also shared a grilled asparagus dish with cheese which was delicious. The one dish we had that was less than the otherswas the oxtail dish. It was recommended so we decided to try it. The flavors were excellent but there was very little actualoxtail. That said, the location was modern Spanish decor, with great Spanish guitar music, candles every where. It was aFriday nights and the restaurant was about 3/4 full. $$-$$$. Read more
This place was on my list for “ must try”. Although, it was a disappointment. Service was friendly. Just took awhile for... them to acknowledge us at the start. Food options were limited. Average tasting. Overpriced clams at $17 for 8 clams on aplate. The music seemed nice until we realized they were playing the same 6 songs on loops. Go here and bring your friends!! First time here and loved it. The space is beautiful and together with the music snd drinks, it... transports you to another city. We tried all the pintxos and they're all SO good. Each one has different flavour combinationsthat work well and balanced together. We especially liked the Sierra, Italian and Kraken. There's a lot more tapas to choosefrom. We got the feature clams (get more bread to dip the sauce!), patatas bravas, and a potato cake dish I forget the name ofbut it was also really good. Read more
