Absolutely marvelous! If you can make it for the 5:30 seating, you'll often get to experience Chef Watanabe and the restaurant... manager greet you on your way in, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was phenomenal. You could tell therewas so much thought and effort put into each dish, it was unlike any other meal I've ever had. First, the ambiance in this place is amazing! It’s cozy, feels small at first sight but they have plenty of seatings including... the bar. The staff were so welcoming and they explained everything on the menu with great passion, especially Daniel :) thanksfor making this a great first-time visit! We were here for our Valentine’s Day 2022 dinner. Food that night was a little on the saltier side. The skin of the pork... agnolotti wasn’t really done. They serve really good cocktails. None the less, we enjoyed our experience at Kissa Tanto. Wewill be back for their regular menu. Read more
I came here last Thursday and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the place and the service. We booked a month in advance and... we're seated at the cute nook by the window! The server was very knowledgeable about how the flavours of the cocktails are andhow the food was cooked. Checked in to make sure we were happy throughout the evening. Music wasn't loud. Bathrooms were clean.Pricey but was well worth it. Proper unpretentious fine dining experience . Highly recommend! Definitely get the plum cocktailand the fried rockfish dish. Very unique atmosphere; literal temperature of the restaurant was high. Service was amazing! Waiter stopped us from ordering too... much as the dishes are meant to be eaten family style. Outstanding Japanese/ French Truffle omelette. Chicken is an absolutemust have, as well as any pasta (we had all three). Tonno Mantecato appetizer was super cool! Go in with an open mind and readyto try stuff, keep in mind it is a pricey but worth it experience. Read more
