Been coming here for 3 + years since I moved directly across the street. A few times I have received my roll with little to no... fish inside (which isn't a huge deal) so I make a note to please make sure there is fish in it since I upgrade to wild salmonand pay for it. When I went in to pick up my order the lady working (new I think) had the audacity to come at me speaking loudlythat "WE KNOW- you don't need to write a note about it" and I was shocked at her aggression. For the few times I haven't writtenit they dont put much inside so if you knew you wouldn't give me sushi with no fish inside when I don't write it in the notes sono- you don't know and clearly I need to specify. I will not be returning sadly after 3 years of being a regular and will betaking my business to a new place around the corner or up the street! Food was good but compared to other sushi places in Kits, it's mediocre at best. Some menu items are hit and miss like the... okonomiyaki but the sushi rolls were great. Read more
Unfortunately I did not enjoy the sushi. I actually had to spit it out in my napkin and eat around it. Not sure what wrong. The... BC roll fish part just didn't taste good. And the seaweed was chewy, a weird texture. Not sure if it is just the day andsituation. Maybe it's better other times and I just got a weird roll. However the staff was friendly and sweet. I usually order from doordash and I've never been disappointed! They've become my favourite sushi place on doordash. The rolls... always taste fresh and delicious, and definitely pack a punch of flavour. My favourite (so far) is definitely a tie between theSpicy Tuna Roll and the Crunch Roll, but the others that I've tried are all delicious as well!
