Went for dinner on a busy Wednesday afternoon without a reservation. They were able to squeeze us in within a few minutes and we... got our food promptly. The service was excellent, there was always someone coming to see if we needed anything else. We triedthe foccacia and olives as starters, and the spaghetti puttanesca as mains. All delicious!! Absolutely AMAZING food and team! If I could give Nook more than 5 stars, I would. We started with the focaccia bread, which... was fantastic and a perfect antipasta. Next, we shared pastas and the margarita pizza?all wonderfully delicious as we savouredevery bite! We finished off with the smooth tiramisu. Besides the excellent food, the staff here are such a delight. Our waiterwas PJ and he was extremely personable and tended to all our needs. He is running the place incredibly well and efficiently. Favourite Italian in Vancouver! Went for the second time and as usual, the food was excellent. Had a vegetarian substitute for... one of the pastas, along with the cacio e pepe and the meatball gnocchi. For appetizers we had the kale salad, olives, whippedricotta on foccaci, and the chicken liver. We didn?t like the liver and they took it off the menu - amazing service! Finishedoff with tiramisu which was excellent. Always a great time there with wonderful service, and the decor for the holidays was niceand cozy. Read more
