I live in the eastern part of the GTA ( Toronto) and visit Vancouver to see my daughter and her partner. I can honestly say... that this is my favourite coffee shop anywhere. It has an amazing community feel, great staff and the coffee and food areexcellent. If I lived here I would be such a regular. Read more
Stopped by for a coffee and some "sugar". The carrot cake was very delicious. As a tourist in town, I got the impression this... place has its local customers. The place itself had a comfy and warm vibe to it. Would I live in town and pass by reguarly, Iwould most likely return here. Friendly staff! Read more
Pros: neighbourly atmosphere, staff generally nice, cute vibes, food feels more like what you would get at a family members... house which I kinda like, not amazing but made with love. Cons: NO BATHROOM. Which I am pretty sure is illegal for restaurantswith seating and probably a way to prevent ?campers? (people that want to sit for extended periods). Used to love coming herebut won?t anymore unfortunately due to lack of facilities (this has been going on more than 6 months). Also coffee is not great,often burnt tasting which can be from not cleaning the machine daily/properly so you have to add a bunch of flavouring to it. Read more
One of the most friendly and welcoming places in Vancouver, or anywhere really. The coffee and pasties and breakfast plates are... all delicious and reasonably priced for Vancouver. The employees are always kind and patient, despite frequently dealing with abig rush and a noisy but fun crowd. I've been 5 or so times, and always leave with a warm and happy feeling ???? Read more

we were visiting Vancity when we stumbled upon this little coffee shop. The coffee and tea fresh and amazing not to mention... their breakfast was fresh my husband had the continental, and I had the English breakfast. the only thing my daughter and ididn't fancy were the breakfast potato's. The other unfortunate thing was the lack of seating space, we came to dine in and hadto do take out instead. Read more
