This is the first and only 5 star review place that i probably wont visit again. And ill tell u why. Everytime i walked pass, i... see tons of white folks in there. I did go in once, and i felt pretty strange lol as im not white. It is perfectly fine by me tohave a place that is meant for the white crowd. In this day and age, there r tons of places that r more catered to many nonwhite folks, in my opinion, it is cool to have a place that the white folks feel belonged also. The pub has very nice vibe forthe right people, very energetic, definitely an irish pub! Putting politics aside, every community deserve to have their ownspot to enjoy among themselves also. Im sure they would welcome me here too with open arms, but i just dont think i belong here,nor would i want to have this place become a color-diverse place. I love it the way it is now All my white friends should checkout this place. And to all the non white folks (myself included), im sure we have our own places too. Let them have this placefor themselves. It's good to have places for white folks to just be white folks. It's a strange review i know, im kinda aliberal myself also, but i dont see why cant the white folks having their own spot for once also. To those who say this place istoo white, well it is, but can i say the african restaurant is too black also? I cant say that. So if u feel uncomfortablegoing here, dont go, i personally feel strange to be in also, but i appreciate that this place exist for the white folks.Celebrating white culture should not be frown upon. We waited in line for 45 mins and saw 4 groups go ahead of us. We were at a restaurant a block away and saw a group that was... there get in before us. I think this is racism. I don't understand why this happened and the doorman had no real goodexplanation for it. He played dumb and ignored our concern for people going in ahead of us stating they were already inside whenin fact we were at another restaurant and left prior to another group and saw them going in ahead of us. I don't recommend thisplace! There's definitely racism and favoritism in play the doorman seemed to know everyone and kept waving people in. Don'tsupport this business. Read more
ONLY WHITE PPL ALLOWED. Had to have a good cry after this experience. I haven?t felt the level of blatant racism here for a very... long time it was extremely evident our group was not the ?right? skin color to get in here. Was just full of drunk white pplonly and many ppl left while we waiting in a line for over half an hour on a Sunday at 430pm. Very upsetting and unfortunateexperience. Was not a good feeling.
