Great atmosphere, great food, and great service. First of all, Vanessa our server was super friendly and made for a memorable... experience. We started with the calamari strips, tender and crispy. We had the seafood platter which is good for 4 - 6depending on the appetite; sablefish, salmon, halibut, prawns, and scallops over broccolini, asparagus, green beans, carrots andpotatoes. Everything was perfectly roasted. It was one of the better seafood platters I have had, generous portions. Highlyrecommended for a group. There were 6 of us. We added the risotto with mushrooms, also recommended. The bolognese sauce wasgood, just a bit spicy so the natural flavours were hidden. I liked the roasted brussels sprouts, very crispy. Finished offwith a selection of desserts. The vegan ice cream tasted every bit the same as regular ice cream. My favourite were the cookies.I’ll be back again with friends. Okay food.... some things dry, others bland. Disappointing for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. Made notes on the reservation and... they still asked who’s birthday it was… I'm pretty sure I'm not the boyfriend last I checked. You get a cookies andcandle. Service is quite slow. Staff mostly just standing around and chatting. One hostess was very aloof and unfriendly whilestrutting around with her nose in the air. Server was friendly though, but initial impressions were off-putting and they ask fora 5* revision to get a free appetizer. 5* reviews here seem pretty misleading, but feel free to get 1* reviews you're willing tochange for a free appetizer. I always have a great experience here. Amicable staff and delicious food. The decor is lovely. Great place for brunch with the... girls or dins for date night. It has one of the best patios all year round too, with blankets and pillows in the winter. Read more
Nice atmosphere. Service was very good .Our meals were OK. I had the prawn and sable fish salad which was very good. My entree... was the steelhead salmon with mushroom barley risotto. The salmon was a bit overdone and dry and the mushroom barley risottoseemed to not have any seasoning so it lacked flavor in my opinion. My husband had the halibut with the housemaid gnocchi. Heenjoyed the gnocchi, but felt the halibut needed seasoning. We shared the brussel sprouts and bacon side dish. It was good butdry. The dessert cookies were fabulous. Read more

The calamari was cooked perfectly! Crispy coating on the outside, still tender and not chewy at all. Great flavor on the... breading too. Comes with a side salad that went well with the calamari. Same exact profile on the truffle fries - crispy outsidewith a fluffy interior. I just came here for some appetizers and a quick drink so have no comment on the entrees. Side note:Didn't have a reso so we sat at the bar and the service was outstanding, very attentive. Food came out fairly quick. Impressedoverall. I'll probably come back to try their brunch menu.
