Great food, Noticed a lot of locals were eating here. Ordered the Reuben and they sure didn't skimp on the corn beef. Wife had... the eggs and bacon w/ homemade hash browns. Really good. The decor needs help but the food was worth it. Read more

Great, rustic, outdated restaurant that surprised us with how busy it was. The restaurant is actually for sale, so we did not... know what to expect, but we were hungry and it was open. We ordered bacon and eggs with fried potatoes and a cup of coffee. Thefood was hot, well presented and most of all very tasty! The service was somewhat slow but given the packed room it wasunderstandable. The two female, senior, employees were most likely sisters, one on the floor and the other the cook. They seemedto enjoy what they were doing. Price was very reasonable and we left with a full stomach and a smile on our faces! Can't speakfor any of the other menu items as we were simply passing through on our way back from vacation. However, I was tempted to trythe homemade apple pie and although I didn't, I'm hoping that if the restaurant remains open, I'll have a chance to give it a goin the near future. Read more
Food, gas, mechanic all reasonable priced and all on one lot. I had driven by this restaurant numerous times. I stopped for a... change and was pleased I did so. Other reviewers indicated the food was like home cooking. I agree with them. Service was warmand friendly. One was made to feel at home. The prices are excellent as compared to what places in Valemont are charging (Iincluded a copy of their menu for reference purposes). Conveniently located on the same lot is a gas station that is self serveand open 24/7 365 days/yr. You do need to pay at the pumps, I didn?t see an attendant. Their price for gas is always lower thanin Valemont (where only Tempo post their price). Separate from the gas station but again on the same lot is an old fashionservice mechanic shop. I saw them assisting a traveller with their tires. Overall, a great experience of old fashioned service.Please note, the location is not very well lit. Read more
