We returned after being here 15 years ago. Decor hasn't changed. I had the 6oz prime rib. Came with mushrooms and great mashed... potatoes ????. Our server was friendly and attentive. We are staying in the area and decided to have dinner out. This restaurant was a fantastic choice! First off, they accommodated... our group of eight without batting an eye. Secondly, my husband has a dairy allergy and just asked to have something removedfrom his order as it would probably be cooked in butter, and his order came with it having been cooked in oil instead! Sograteful for thoughtful servers and cooks willing to switch it up to accommodate an allergy, without us asking. The food wasdelicious, and obviously the service was outstanding! A lovely restaurant. Far better than you normally find a such a small town. Clean, fresh and open in a beautiful log building... that feels bright and yet cozy. Service was exceptional, menu was diverse except for deserts. The meal was well prepared, andproperly plated and served. Prices were reasonable for the level of service, and portions were good.
