Wow, what an exceptional date night spot! My husband and I drive by this place often and finally had a chance to check it out.... The fresh bread is out of this world and a must try app, perfect with wine. We tried 2 different pastas and both were delicious.Especially loved how rich the ravioli bone marrow filling was! We shared a tiramisu, the perfect end to our meal. We justcan’t stop thinking about how great the food and service was. Can’t wait to come back! Read more
I absolutely loved this restaurant. Went here with a friend of mine and everything was delicious. The servers - so fun and... kind. The seating is a bit sparse, but it gives in a small boutique feel. As for the menu it changes everyday to threedifferent fresh pastas. Often there are stuffed pastas and vegetarian option. The pasta is amazing with well balanced saucesand just the right amount of chewiness. They also had great mocktail options and I had the elderflower one. Pricey, butdelicious. The staff were also so kind as to accommodate my friend who needed to eat halal by taking wine out of thesauces. Couldn’t recommend more! Read more
An amazing restaurant tucked away in a residential area of Davenport & Christie. It caught my eye months ago when I was on my... way home from work and I made a point to come out to eat here. It gives me some European cafe vibes because of the cute littletables and chairs sprawling out onto the sidewalk. The atmosphere is relaxed and the capacity has something to do with it. Theycan only fit 40 ppl in there. I had the octopus appetizer and died and went to heaven ???? then the chef made a cacio e pepepasta off menu just for me. It was sublime. Annabelle is one of the cities hidden gems. The ambience and atmosphere is what I would describe as snug and local. The service... was very good and the food was even better. The spicy pork meatballs were very tender and super creamy with the ricotta. Thecaramelized onions and romesco sauce adds a nice contrast to that of the pork and cannot be described in words. Would highlyhighly recommend. The pasta was one of the best pastas I've had. Really up there with some top pasta restaurants inToronto. The pasta menu changes daily so I would check their instagram to see the menu. Some might get discouraged by therotating menu but don't, the food and ambience here is unique and I haven't really found anything like it in Toronto so far. Read more
