I loved the staff, the service and the food. Always have been a fan of the eggs Benny. I made reservations for our new bowling... team. We call ourselves the gutter ball girls. Thank you Harrison for your attentive service. They didn’t leave a morsel.Thank you to the chefs and kitchen prep We will be back. And, I was. After 2 hours of shopping at the Bay, I realized mysunglasses were missing. I was frantic! The staff was patient and accommodating. Harrison, our waiter, kept them safe for me. Even with a 10-page menu, there were not enough good options. The chicken appetizer was good but overcooked, the steak main... course was somehow burnt and under done? My partner and I both ordered cocktails and both were so bitter we couldn't finishthem. I ordered a margarita, and there was no sweetness to it at all. And they used table salt on the rim, instead of sea salt,so it tasted awful. The best part of the meal was the croutons on the Caesar salad, which were probably from a package. Didn'teven bother to get dessert. The server was nice, but clueless about different levels of steak doneness. Also talked down one ofthe soups, explaining that we "wouldn't like it" because it's "a really traditional Jewish soup". It was Matza ball soup. Didn'torder it, given her negative recommendation. Bathrooms were unclean and there were only 3 other tables being served. With anhour left in opening, the server came by to say she was done, and was handing off our table, and that we could, "stay as long asyou want, well, until 9pm" Such a bizarre and negative experience. We had a large party to celebrate the life of a colleague who passed away during the pandemic. This location was so... accommodating and provided us with a table in an alcove. We had Alex as our server and she was wonderful! I don’t know howshe was able to look after a table of 12, get everyone’s drinks and meal orders by herself (correctly) and provide individualchecks with a smile! Booked this restaurant and space about a month in advance. The room was perfect for our group and celebration. There were... several disappointments that management must note and we hope rectify. For starters myself and our guests waited for a good 10minutes before a host acknowledged our waiting in the line/hall to be seated. Our waiter never gave us his name nor did heacknowledge the celebration. When we ordered mimosa’s to start, he advised they most likely WOULD NOT be able to have all thesame flute glasses - we were a party of 15 guests...really??? An establishment of this size doesn’t have enough glassware forthe full party? Ridiculous! In fairness to our waiter he tried his best, he took our orders but it took a good hour before wewere served and then in intervals because not all the food was ready for all our guests...brunch meals were COLD, latkes wereheavy on garlic. Then too boot we had to ask our server to bring cutlery while our food waited in front of all our guestsbecause the table wasn’t prepared ahead of time. Not a great experience. Waitress was very nice but it didn't make up for... -Dirty glass with lipstick that I didn't notice... until I was half done my drink. - Matzo ball soup with undercooked matzo balls - Lean corned beef was not an option/available soyou're stuck with fatty 'medium' Have good memories of this place but it has gone downhill unfortunately.
