I am a loyal customer of Cafe Belong. From the time it opened, I have dined here, grabbed a coffee and enjoyed their delicious... pastries. As described, the food/snacks are locally sourced, the space is airy and designed perfectly to cater towards theheritage aspects of the Brickworks. Always happy to come back here, whether or not it's jam packed or quiet. Read more
Coffee was ok. Cookie was good. Quiche and french fries were delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient. Nice patio. It's... expensive. But no other options. Read more
Americano was pretty good and we had a blueberry scone (very fresh) and a butter tart (actually tasted like buttar tart) both of... which came with generous portion and size. Perhaps a bit pricey but what's not pricey in Toronto anymore (as of Oct 2022) - Iwould definitely have coffee and treats next time we're there. Staff were young and having fun in the kitchen which we alsoliked. It was self-serve when we were there which makes sense to the setting. We appreciate they are running business at suchlocation that relies heavily on weekend visitors. Read more
The Brickwork is a hidden gem, an oasis in the middle of big TO. There was a restaurant there for years but never took off as... the nice setting promised. We have only had grab and go before from this place; simply coffee and baked goods. While thequality was fine, for takeout food, it didn't feel justified for the price. And there was always a sense of lacking of care fromthe staff. Today we actually get to sit on the patio and enjoyed our coffee and pastries under the canopy. We realize that theplace is under new ownership. One can feel the effort they are making. There are more varieties of baked items. The staff areextremely helpful. And we were told they are looking to expend their menu and reopen the dinning room. In the past, the oldmenus never interested me. The trend of assembling dishes with cold ingredients and bypass cooking is the rage everywhere. Thisplace may be no exception in its new incarnation; only time can tell. For now, as a café set in such a pleasant surrounding,with this sense of renewal; it is worth a visit whenever in the vicinity. The fair trade coffee and pastries are fresh anddelicious. Read more

2nd time coming here for food and warm drinks. SAME EXPERIENCE TWICE. Looks nice from outside but not worth the bad experience... going inside. Overpriced. Dirty tables. Rude and very cold staff.
