A quaint little brunch spot that serves some good breakfast that tastes just like home- made. They serve gluten free cakes that... are delicious and are known for their schnitzel- another hidden gem in midtown Toronto. Service is a bit slow - since this isfamily run. Read more

Bread and Butter is a quaint corner sandwich shop specializing in schnitzel. We found both our sandwiches (veal and chicken) to... be good quality and fair value. Was disappointed that ours weren't warm tho and had to be nuked. Also, bun options are thecommercial grocery store variety. A better quality bun (bakery) would elevate these sandwiches from good to great! As is, notgood enough for us to return. Read more

Feels like you are in grandma's house for a breakfast bite. the food was delicious, I got B&B which is benedict on... schnitzel. the schnitzel was preheated I guess but still very delicious. the homemade pancake didn't serve to my satisfaction.many people get pastry take out. the staff were friendly.
