Our group frequented the pub where they held a section of the pub for us. The speed of the service was quite good and we had a... large group. They serve fairly standard pub fare with a flourish here or there on their menu. I ordered the traditional burger. It was well done with fresh toppings and the fries were fresh and crispy. Good food and great service! Quite the perfect place to have an informal dinner with friends in Church and Wellesley.
We?ve never had such a long ordeal of an experience at a pub before. It took us over an hour and a half to get food. We were... seated, given a menu and told they?d check back in a minute - 30 minutes later after watching people who had been seated afterus, I approached a staff member at the bar and another server was sent to our table to take our order. Our drinks came quicklybut after another 30 minutes (and again, another table seated after we had finally ordered had gotten their food) we asked foran update on food and were told they would check. We waited another half hour before our food finally came. To their credit, wedid both enjoy our meals. And the server was apologetic for how long it took. But I would never come here again and if it wasn?tfor the fact that our drinks had come so quickly we would have left rather than stick it out. Read more
