Fantastic spot for some good bar food and drinks. Cocktails are average priced and with a good variety of alcohol selection... available. I had the Whiskey sour which was made very well. To eat, we had the honey garlic wings and fries and they wereperfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and sweet, soft and fully cooked on the inside. Also had the pulled pork sandwich, whichwas so well-seasoned and delicious. Service was great, quick and efficient. We were the last people to finish up, and everyonewas so kind and welcoming! We finally had the chance to go to House On Parliament and it was fantastic. It was during a Monday night so, the place wasn?t... too busy but, the ambiance was good and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. We had an assortment of cocktails anddishes and everything was delicious. Read more
This is a gem! I was genuinely surprised with the quality of food for a pub and the price. Service is friendly, vibe and decor... on point, and the food is fresh and delicious. Now that restaurants are open to full capacity they were busy. We chose the right night to go as our favourites were their... features. Smoked salmon to start comes with toasties, herbed cream cheese, capers, red onion jelly (fabulous), greens and lemon.The baseball cut steak was cooked perfectly and served on top of a crispy potatoes croquette. Bright spears of asparagus andother veg were in a bed of a tasty mushroom gravy under this tower of food. Herb butter melted on top of the steak. Lamb shankdinner was also delicious.
