So lovely to see The Auld Spot back open! Had a great time here a couple weeks ago on a Monday. The staff was incredibly... friendly. Wandered in on a Wednesday night since I was in the neighbourhood. So impressed - super cozy British isles country house vibe,... great music, awesome food, solid beer list. We had the oysters (fresh and delicious) and house made chips (well seasoned with atouch of kick). Great service. Will be back for a meal next time! Read more
The new Auld Spot didn’t disappoint. New owners have stepped up the menu. Food is at a best in Toronto level, yet this is... still a neighbourhood pub at its core. They’ve given the place a remarkable facelift and the staff made us feel at home. Itwas busy (sat. night), but didn’t feel crowded, or rushed. The Auld Spot has finally re-opened under new management and it is fantastic!! Decor and seating have been tastefully updated;... the staff were friendly and very attentive; most importantly the food was phenomenal. We had oysters, polenta fries, beetsalad, and burgers. The oysters are a steal so have some before your meal. The burger really blew my mind. I was expectingyour standard pub burger, but this one was on another level.
