Delightful pub with interesting menu and great service. A local with character! Comfortable varied seating. Specials daily.... Wonderful friendly owners that interact with their customers to ensure all is well. We don't get there regularly as we live faraway, but other family is there often and loves it! Read more
I love restaurants with seasonal menus. I love even more so restaurants with fresh, perfectly cooked food, that is so balanced... you can finish every bite and not realize it. The portion sizes are perfect, and prices are reasonable. I don't know where themeat comes from but the fish is fair catch. You can get an excellent pescatarian meal here, and I love the thought put intotheir menu. Service is quick, professional and polite - I personally don't care if you smile or frown at me as long as you dothe job right. The vibe is really nice, and the music is loud enough that you can hear it and have privacy, and quiet enoughthat you can still have conversation. I love food and the culture behind it so I try new places pretty often. I don't think I'mexaggerating when I say this is the best food I've ever had. Hats off to the chef and team. First time to try this restaurant. Excellent service and quality of food. We ordered chicken schnitzel (main), nachos (appetizer... for sharing), bubble stash (beer) and of course sticky toffee pudding (dessert). Chicken schnitzel is crispy but not overcookedand all the sides are so fresh. Sauce is also the best. The bubble stash is a sweet beer which I really enjoyed.
