The inside decoration makes you feel warm. I personal wish it would open earlier and close later?.
They basically run out of everything on Sunday morning. After ordered Smoked salmon in croissant (typically it must be in toast... as a sandwich :)) ), they let me know they ran of it and I substitute it for BLT I paid and I got egg and bacon lol. Then Iasked for honey they showed me a filthy container and told me it?s frozen sorry! The floor is dirty the coffee even didn?t comewith typical Aroma biscuits and many more. I hadn?t been here for a while and it looks like it has been newly renovated. The restaurant is clean and bright. The service... was great and the food was amazing. I was able to switch out the dairy in their power breakfast for extra guacamole and thevegan salad. I especially love their gluten free toast. It?s the best gluten free toast I have ever had in a restaurant. Theircoffee is delicious too and I was pleased to see they had switched the chocolate to a tiny delicious cookie (which Iunfortunately couldn?t eat because it was made of wheat.) I arrived to my local Aroma (3343 Yonge Street, Toronto) at 4:55 pm today, and asked the girl at the counter if I could order a... latte. She told me they were closed, and all I could order was a drip coffee or a pastry. The front door was unlocked and therewere two people at a table in the store. When I asked what time they closed, she said 5 pm. I left without saying anything, butshould have expressed my disappointment with this poor customer service. Upon arriving home, I shared this story with myfamily. As an aside, we have been customers of this location since it first opened in 2014. The worst part of sharing thisstory with my family was discovering that my daughter had actually tried to purchase a gift certificate for me from this sameAroma location this past Christmas. She had arrived at the store at 4:45 pm and when she asked to purchase a gift certificatewas told by a member of the Aroma staff that they were closing and their terminal wasn?t working and all they could do wasaccept cash. She told them that she would run home and come back with cash within 10 minutes to purchase the gift certificate.The response from the Aroma staff was the store would be closed and they couldn?t help her! Probably best to find a new coffeeshop! We certainly won't be returning to Aroma. Read more
