I'm rather confused about the high ratings. The food isn't terrible but it is WAY overpriced for its quality and portion size.... There are many other Italian places in the city with better and more flavorful dishes at the same, if not lower, price point.The cacio e pepe was the most disappointing dish, they seem to have forgotten the 'cacio' part. It was more like a bland butternoodle dish, definitely not worth it. A couple pros are that the place is kinda cute and the servers were polite (except thisone server that kept telling us to make a reservation for next time as if it was a problem seating us even though there weremultiple free tables). My wife and I have been going to the place since 1998. And we have never been disappointed. Nestled in Forest Hill Village,... Banfi is one of my favorite pizza and pasta places. It?s a small, cozy place. You almost feel like you?re walking into someone?sliving room. Each and every visit , the owner has greeted us with a great and welcoming smile. They consistently serve greatpasta and pizza, and the specials vary. Best compliment I can pay to this place.
