I?ve been to Adega twice and their service has been immaculate both times. They really know how to make you feel welcome in... their beautiful and cozy Portuguese supper place. The saffron seafood risotto was the winning dish for me. I can undoubtedlyorder it each time I?m there. Excellent flavours. Read more

This was our first time having Portugese food. It was a great place to be introduced to it. We got the prix fixe option:... appetizer, main and dessert. Everything was done with quality, from the service to the suggestions to each dish. The Portugesecheese was absolutely delicious, especially paired with the fresh bread. The mains were a fair size and were delicious! Thedessert was so fresh and deserved to be slowly savoured! There was a patio at the front, a bar area and a large seating areainside. Also, downstairs, you can have a small private party at the wine cellar. The decor is nice, reminiscent ofPortugal. The price is fair but would be more on the fine dining side. Certainly a great place for special occasions???? Although a lovely place, it wasn't wheelchair accessible unless you eat at the patio. There's stairs going up to therestaurant and stairs going down to the washroom. Read more

Highly recommend this Portuguese restaurant for a date night just before hitting the theatre. Its a quick 5 min walk to the... Mivish Theatre so a great place to grab a romantic dinner before the show. They have a nice terrace at the second floor.Definitely try to grab a seat in this area as its more private and cozy. The service at this place is top notch. Waiters areall super attentive. I highly recommend their Saffron Risotto, which is Portuguese style vs the usual Italian style. Seafoodand herbs on this dish were super fresh. Adega is a bit on the expensive side but their portions are so generous and you can seethat they didn?t skimp on the quality ingredients. Because their service is good it made me think that this is a great place totake people you want to impress like clients or your in laws as the service won?t let you down. They have an awesome wine listselection and you may also want to try their Portuguese beer, Super Bock. Read more

Definitely a wonderful and delicious experience. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant had a very nice lofty feeling... to it. The patio was nice but we had a big party so ate inside. We tried just about everything on the menu. The sardines (notnormally something I would get) were superb! Each dish was wonderfully delicious. The piri piri shrimp, lobster bisque, octopus. All fantastic. The seafood risotto was also amazing and rich with flavour and lots of seafood. The house red was something wealso all gravitated towards and was rich and full bodied which paired nicely with the seafood. Would certainly recommend. M Read more
