Amazing service! While the food was simply excellent and truly authentic (my Nono and Nona would approve) RECOMMENDED.
I had visited SIP about a month ago and left a review without any specifics hoping that someone from the restaurant would get in... touch. I also tried contacting through instagram and facebook, but heard nothing. I would avoid SIP completely. The servicetook an unbelievable amount of time - my partner and I went for a standard three course meal and it took over 3 hours, becauseeach course took nearly an hour to deliver. After a 45 minute wait for our desert, our server said that they were giving us anorder of Tiramisu on the house to compensate for the absurd waiting times. Nice right? Nope. We thanked the server and tippedgenerously and headed home, opened the Tiramisu for a late night snack and it was COVERED in mold. Giant white spores all overthe cake. If you're in the market to spend 3+ hours waiting for mouldy food, this is probably the spot. Read more
My first time here and it won’t be the last… The food here is AMAZING!!!! We got the Mushroom Risotto and the Marinara Pizza... as the main course and the Crème Brûlée for dessert and everything was outstanding! There are a couple of Italian food jointsin the neighbourhood (on the main streets) but this little gem is quietly tucked away and is such a treasure. My first time here and the entire experience was amazing. Our waiter was a true old school waiter that was extremely helpful... that provided just the right amount of attention, didn't come by to often but never had to look for him. We had narrowed ourchoices to 3 different wines, he happily answered our questions and let us sample them before we settled on a bottle. When wedecided to order some food he was able to discuss the food and what he enjoyed about each dish. We ordered two different pizzasand both tasted incredible with fresh toppings, unique sauces and dough. A great place for a quiet evening. Definitely worth theprice. I will be going back. Read more
