Have been to Jack Astor’s (multiple locations around Toronto) at Yonge and Bloor many times - it’s in Yorkville and about a... 5 minute walk, makes it really convenient. It’s accessible on both the north/south Yonge line and east/west Bloor line (beingat Yonge/Bloor subway station) your getting super convenient and centrally located. The variety of meal options from burgers,wraps, chicken fingers, salads, wings and nachos coupled with some appropriately sized after work drinks can make for a goodouting!! Read more
The food tasted good. But they were super slow in serving the drinks. And they wouldn't serve us drinks after sometime stating... we didn't order enough food. I understand if people are absolutely inebriated... You should stop serving them. But that wasn'tthe case and didn't seem fair. Last night my friend and I came to this location to catch up after not seeing each other for a while. We’ve been coming to... this location for years. It was a little stressful at the beginning getting a table although there were many tables available.Our waitress Sade was the best! She was so nice, patient and very attentive. I have been to many Jack Astor's in Quebec (Montreal and Laval). My experience there was better than the one on Bloor (Toronto).... The service was very slow. I ordered a steak, medium. I got it really well done and couldn't enjoy it. I didn't want to returnit because I was hungry, however I finally asked for a replacement. It took a while to get it. I was the last one eating.Everyone was already done with their plates. That's why I didn't really enjoy the experience.
