My expectations of an "okay" vegan burger were met. The patty was juicy but not as good as a Beyond Meat or Impossible Meat... burger. The shoestring fries were pretty delicious, though. Read more
It is probably the greasiest burger I've had in Toronto. I ordered the smoky cow burger (BOGO on Uber Eats) and a side of fries... and was shocked that their burgers and fries are crazy overpriced for a single price. When we received the food and opened thecontainer, we were very disappointed because the burger looked very small. There was no topping (just meat, cheese and bacon),and the whole bun felt SUPER greasy while holding the burger, So I had to get a napkin to grab the burger. The bun under theburger was so wet with oil that it was so disgusting. After eating, I found the whole paper towel was very oily, and the bottomof the box was greasy. The fries portion was also disappointing; the amount was tiny and very expensive. (I poured it on aplate, so it looked like a lot, but it was a small serving) Overall, it was a very, very disappointing experience. The burgersare way overpriced (one burger with two beef patties for $19, and the fries for $6) and very, very greasy. The burger was onlymeat and cheese, and the fries were not good either. They should really clean up the whole seating area, but the burgers are truly exceptional so I overlook the decor and ambiance.... I've never bothered with anything other than the Holy Chuck and an order of hand-cut fries (and a very occasional shake) becausethey are so damned good, so I am clueless about the rest of the menu. Came to try their Italian White Truffle fries (17.99) and my friend got a burger. My fries came out crispy, to the point where... it was just oil. Very over cooked for fries. Looks like they barely put black pepper on there. I asked for extra sauce on theside and it appears that they charged me for sauce but left me with one container on the side. It was like eating hickorysticks as the fries were too hard. Would not try again. Staff at this location had a hard time understanding when I requestedextra sauce. The staff who took my order advised me that they don?t sell sauce on the side. When I asked for them to put extrasauce on the fries then, she walked away confused. 4. This is a great burger spot for a smashed burger with lots of options for sauce and add-ons. It is a REALLY heavy meal so... come prepared.
