Update: much better second experience here. The blueberry lavender lemonade is a delightfully refreshing flavour for a humid... summer evening. Brie and Alex (?) offer the sort of customer service you want out of your local ice cream shop: generous, warm,and helpful. I?ll be back to try the mastic and the Turkish delight when they?re being scooped again! Original review: Triedthe Mexican dark chocolate cinnamon and gooseberry swirl and was majorly disappointed. I was expecting flavours like, you know,cinnamon, but detected none whatsoever. The supposedly Mexican chocolate was run of the mill and a few shades paler than dark.The gooseberry? It tasted quite a lot like raspberry (what they had advertised earlier in the week) and was perfectly ordinary.The waffle cone tasted more than a day old. If it had been a reasonable price, I wouldn?t be quite so put out, but when a conecosts over $11 then I have higher expectations. I?m still giving three stars because I know how good their hard gelato can be,but I advise to steer clear of the soft serve - this ain?t it. Read more
Death in Venice Gelato offers not only great service, very cool decor but also very unique gelato flavours with ingredients that... I could have never imagined putting together. One that really stood out is the lime, raspberry and ginger which had a verysubtle ginger taste and was very refreshing. I also had the coconut cold brew, which tasted very smooth and not too sweet. Thislocation also has many delicious treats that you can take home, including pints of gelato, chocolate, sauces and other snacks. Ihighly recommend trying their gelato though, and cannot wait to come back to try the other flavours too! Read more
Their gelatos have so many unique flavors and we could try them before! I was worried about my egg allergy, but there were still... many options enough. We got coconut one, which was super creamy!! They also have some products that we can buy as a gift. Read more
This place has such great ice cream!!! I would give 5 stars for the ice cream for sure. However it?s unfortunate that on such a... crazy busy hot summer day (30+ outside) that they only have 1 person working. We don?t mind the wait at all but it?s tough tosee one person running back and forth for hours on end. We hope to see more support for the staff here. Read more
