I ended up in here after having a rather rough hour and was greeted with nothing but absolute kindness from the employees... despite it being right at closing. I am horrid with names, but the employee (whose name starts with an I), went above and beyondto make sure I was all good, and my evening was improved greatly just thanks to her. The minty tea I was served was lovely and Ibought a ?healthy hot chocolate? mix to take home, which I will be trying later. It?s amazing what a little bit of goodness cando to totally change a mood, so thank you. If I wasn?t leaving the city tomorrow I?d absolutely go back. Read more

Was welcomed by friendly staff on a cold winter day, and helped with suggestions for treats and accommodated without any trouble... when I requested an alternate milk. I was offered a housemade hazelnut chocolate spread on my sweet toast as an upgrade, andproceeded to BE MINDBLOWN. It was absolutely incredible. It was indulgent and wholesome all in one bite... I devoured it in thesun on a bench nearby with a huge grin on my face. The Chillpill hot drink was also amazing. I stopped going to Starbucks yearsago because their specialty drinks were always a disappointment- flat flavour, watery and sugar sludge at the bottom. Neverthought I'd find an alternative for a warm 'treat drink'. What I enjoyed today was the antidote. Layers of intricate flavour,not overly sweet and so satisfying because I knew it was mushroomy/adaptogen/magic goodness bits at the bottom of the cup. Ireturned a few days later with a friend and got the 'hype fudge' and 'key lime pie' bites, also phenomenal and can't stopthinking about them! We're so lucky to have a spot like this in Toronto that gets what it really means to make healthy,nourishing food that tastes AMAZING! Now I have a go-to spot. :) Read more
