The staff is extremely friendly, but unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the food very much. I got a portion of jerk chicken with rice... and boiled veggies and potato wedges to go with it. The food was average. The chicken was cooked well but the taste could bemuch better. The rice was supposed to have peas which I assumed would be green peas but it had black beans. The rice wasn'tcooked or seasoned well. The veggies were good I'd say, but that was not supposed to be the star of the meal. Coming to thepotato wedges - they were extremely oily but served hot. Really wanted to try some Carribean food. We ordered the small Oxtail plate with coleslaw and the Jerk Chicken with Coleslaw.... Super hungry and I absolutely crushed the food. The Jerk Chicken was seasoned really well, the oxtail was nice and tender.Overall good place and the trays were packed too, didn?t skimp out of anything! Read more

Always a fan to try anything black owned. Ordered the jerk shrimp and jerk pork sandwich. Forgot to take a photo of the... sandwich none the less. Shrimp were a good size, good flavour. Also not used to having pineapple with jerk or rice and peas, itfits well so I enjoy it. Jerk pork was good but felt a little dry for my liking. My sides were coleslaw, not wasn't tooexciting. Roywoods is my go-to spot for those days where I want quick and really GOOD food. I discovered the restaurant about a year ago... and have been going here ever since. The food and the customer service NEVER disappoints, everyone is super friendly andwelcoming and they all have great energy. The owner?s son is also super nice!
