Oysters, steak tartare, and scallops & pork belly were all delicious. Reasonable asking prices for the quality of the menu... design. Zeke gave me friendly service, was attentive to me despite her having a large party and other tables simultaneously. Ifound all the staff at this hotel to be nice and helpful. Great ambience and music selection. Saw a concert at the undergroundafter dining for $20 which felt like a steal. Good sound for a small intimate venue. Will be back again for more! Read more

All appearance based aesthetics. Ever since the firm added the new wing, it has become a "wow, architecture" building.... Meanwhile, the hotel itself needs work on quality of the food and rooms, as well as how they deal with their customers. TheDrake has dirty rooms (bathrooms especially) and cheap fixtures throughout. Even the toiletries are worse than what I've seen ata typical hotel chain, and it is very obvious. They need to vacuum and sanitize surfaces better, if they even do it at all.People notice! The prices for rooms are mostly whack. I do not care how cool you think you are, hotel. I could stay at an ikeadisplay all day for free and get the same aesthetics. At least the food wouldn't be ridiculous such a $10 for a glass of basicjuice. Read more

I celebrated my birthday over the weekend, amazing service, good food. I didn't stay at the hotel. The waitress was amazing,... very attentive to the table, remembered what everyone ordered and was able to handle the bill with no issues which wasimpressive because we were a big group. Would 100% recommend this place for a dinner. My only other comment is maybe the foodmenu being more expansive. The drinks were brilliant though. Read more

We started out in the lounge while we waited to be sat in the Sky Yard for the rooftop vibes. Our bartender was very friendly... and knowledgeable when it came to cocktails. We each shared a whiskey based cocktail. I think mine was called "Lovestoned" andit was a strong and delicious slow-sipper. She recommended we go dancing after in the Underground since it would be free coverfor us now that we were already inside the hotel. I have been to the Underground multiple times over the years, and it's alwaysa good time, but we skipped it that night. Once we got to the Sky Yard, the summer breeze, cityscape views, incandescent lightsalong with the music made for a perfect backdrop to the end of our date night. Read more

The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is twice in the 4 nights I stayed, a private party rented out the restaurant... and rooftop bar and I wasn't allowed to eat or drink there. Other than that it was excellent. The location is great if you liketo be surrounded by numerous, good restaurants. I had a king room, not large but super nice. The bathroom was a nice treat.Definitely recommend the Drake. Read more
