Beautiful place with authentic Persian food. A true hidden gem at downtown Toronto. We enjoyed Zaban and Halim Bademjoon and of... course Persian tea. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Due to high demand you might have to wait in lines which isworth it. To avoid long waits best to show up there at their opening time (10 am). Enjoy! Read more

This has become my favourite brunch spot in Toronto. I have been to Iran and love Persian food but this spot has brought Iran to... Toronto. Firstly, the service was fantastic even though this place is busy (now I know why). The server understood our dietaryrestrictions and suggested changes to some things I wanted. For example, the Paneer Boreshteh usually has sea food. I asked ifthey can avoid putting the fish and replace with more cheese and they happily did it. Secondly the food was out of this world. The breads were freshly baked and this bread is better than most breads I have had. Finally the marinated olives were to diefor. I even enquired if I can buy a jar of 500g and unfortunately they do not sell them alone. Takht-e team - absolutely welldone. Keep it up. You have found 2 more loyal customers in my wife and myself. We will see you soon. Keep that halloumi readyfor me. Read more

items recommended: dizi, olives generous portions, reasonable prices, will be back I will be returning back to this restaurant... and i did enjoy the food, specially that there are no other Persian breakfast/brunch of this caliber in the downtown area.Reasonable wait time for the food, very generous portions with respect to the prices, and everything we ordered tasted great.Little thing that bugged me, the sosis-tokhme morgh could use some bigger sized sausages or persian sausages and a bit of salt +a server's smile could go a long way with the customers : ) otherwise 5/5 Read more
