This place has really gone downhill. Stale bun and a small dry burger for $12, may as well go to Burger King.
Writing this review for myself mostly, so in a couple of years, if I am passing by, I would know exactly why I stopped ordering... from GBK and won't make the same mistake as today. Used to order here quite often when was living in the neighborhood 6-5 yearsago, and totally agree with "hit or miss" reviews. Orders from GBK either ok or horrible. Never had a really good burger here.They are always very dry. Today's burger was dry as always, and also lacking the sauce. I mean the sauce probably was there, butI just couldn't feel it. The meat patty was seasoned well and that's the only good thing about it. It was VERY dry. Today's"star" of my order was not even this very dry burger but fries and poutine. At first I was shocked by the huge portions! Whichis good, right? Well, it's good only if it tastes good, otherwise it's just more garbage. After taking a few "dry but ok" bitesof poutine I got a moldy one. Remembered right away WHY I stopped ordering here. Tried to explain to my 3yo that she needs tospit out her fries if it tastes unusual, took a piece from her plate and it had the moldy taste as well! Dear GBK, please dosomething about quality of your potatoes. It's just not safe. I never ever had this issue anywhere else (and I would say I eatfries often). Yes, I did get dark pieces of fries from other restaurants, but I didn't eat them 'cause they look wrong. Thepieces from GBK's fries looked fine. So you just can't know until you try it. I would not leave a review at all if I had orderedonly the burger. But the fries made me really upset. Read more

This place is awesome! The staff are amazing and so kind. What I would avoid however is using UberEats to order from them. Find... another way to get their food. UberEats treats restaurants so poorly and is perfectly happy for them to take the heat for theirpoor delivery system. This great restaurant made my order in good faith while it sat for over an hour and a half waiting for adriver to feel like picking it up. They called me and were so worried I was going to hate the food because it had been sittingout and didn't know what to do and they had ZERO support from UberEats. I will be getting food from this place again for sure -but NOT through UberEats. Read more
