Long Beach Lodge Resort is clean, respectful of its natural environment and full of attentive 5 star staff. Everyone I had the... pleasure of meeting was genuinely kind and professional, a hard thing to come by. A special shout out to Kait and Bob, who werevery friendly and made me feel at home on my recent visit to this very special place. Great view. We stopped in during a rainy day and had warm drinks and pastries and watched surfers. The chocolate muffin was... amazing as well as the hot chocolate. The coffee was very smooth and delicious. Would definitely go again Read more

Let me start with the good. Staff were all friendly and the room was big and clean. The views from the great room/dinning room... are wonderful. Now, the not so good. The service and drinks in the dinning room were not great. The hotel is named long beachbut is not on long beach. I have stayed in their ocean view room which was obscured by trees and a shed. Ultimately there waswater behind those items. The ocean front/beach front room we had was also obstructed by numerous trees. None of the roomshave AC. This is fine if there is an ocean breeze but of the many nights we stayed there we never had any sort of breeze andhad to sweat through the night. I fail to see how a new hotel that charges ~$400 a night does not have AC or movie channels(HBO, etc.) on TV or housekeeping after mid afternoon or late night room service. All of which would have been nice during themiddle of the night when I was wide awake. Read more
