I was shocked to find out the subway staff don't get to keep the tips left in the tip jar. Times are tough right now and the... people working at lower wages need help. I thought I would drop my change into the tip jar to help the sandwich artist out whomade me a great meal. After releasing the change they told me I might as well keep my change because their boss takes all thetips... WHAT?? I looked on Reddit and this is standard practice at Subway according to what people have to say aboutSubway. This blows my mind.
