I came here to celebrate a birthday. We ordered the caesar salad and shrimp cocktail as appetizers. The salad was prepared at... the table which was nice, but the cheese was too much for our liking and the bacon was on the salty side. the croutons andlettuce was fresh. We loved the shrimp cocktail! the shrimp was HUGE and the sauce was just right. For main we ordered the lampchops, prime rib and salmon. Everything was made perfectly and the portion was very generous. You can tell that the ingredientsare fresh and of good quality. One thing I would recommend is that they use proper wine glass. I ordered a glass of red butthey use ikea type wine glass which was quite disappointing for a fine dining restaurant. Overall the service, food andatmosphere is great. Celebrated my boyfriend?s birthday at the Octagon. This is the second time we visited, we celebrated my birthday here couple... years back. Food is Amazing. We both loved the seafood platter! October is obviously a better time to enjoy seafood comparingto March. The lobsters and scallops are bigger than I remembered, and the market price was lower comparing to last time. Read more

Ever since my favourite fine dining restaurant that I've been going to since I was young closed, we had been trying to find one... similar, with the same impeccable service and amazing food. We came here on a whim and very glad that we did! The food was verygood, the steak was good quality. I wish we had enough room for dessert, but we will just have to try it next time. Also, I amvery impressed with the upkeep of the place. Normally, when restaurants have intricate furniture and decorations, you notice alayer of dust. But this place, you can see they hold themselves at a higher standard (as they should), and every nook and crannywas dust free. And they had a lot of older style wood cabinets which you know have detailed designs carved in. Overall quiteimpressed with the place and will definitely keep coming back. Read more
