A nice spot to treat yourself, or for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries etc. The Appetizers had quite large... quantities, and was enough for 9 of us. The steak was done to my liking, fries were not too bad, wish it was a bitcrispier. Overall a good experience. Read more
Ordered a rib steak and seafood linguine. The linguine tasted good and had big scallops. However, the steak was horrible. It was... the most bland steak I have ever ate. I thought the chef forgot to put salt on the steak but the waitress told me their steaksare all lightly salted. I had to ask for salt and pepper and put quite a lot of salt on it to have at least some flavour. If youwant a good steak just go to the Keg. Priced the same and tastes 10 folds better. Read more
Great atmosphere, and good food. The steak was made the way I asked (medium-well), and the veggies were so soft and tasty. I... usually love mashed potatoes but this one had a sour taste which I wasn?t fond of. More items/options on the menu would begreat. I love the ambience here. Baton Rouge Steakhouse reminds me of Fleming?s Steakhouse. I ordered the Thai steak salad and it was... sooo good. I actually think it?s better than Houston?s Thai steak salad. My friend ordered the prime rib sandwich and enjoyedevery bite. Our server was friendly and attentive. Read more

In short good food horrible service. Me and my partner decided to choose Baton to celebrate our anniversary. Starting off we got... seated in a very loud area. It wasn?t possible to relocate, and then we meet our main problem of the night Tim our waiter. Hewas very cold and seemed like he didn?t want to serve us. I first thought he is having a bad day, but then I saw how he happilytreated the people next to us. It was very sad how his attitude and tone ruined our evening. He didn?t check up on is but he didto the table next to us. I can say that the service at other steakhouses like Keg or Chop was 8/10, at Baton it was 2/10. Todayproved that no matter how good the food is the service is a very important piece to make the evening special. In addition Irequested in the reservation to include a candle on my partners cake, which was not done, but was done to the table next to us.At that point I wanted to call the manager, but didn?t want to cause a scene. The front desk confirmed that we should havegotten a candle but Tim didn?t help me make the surprise come to life. I am very disappointed with the service and will not bereturning to Baton. Read more
