Finally we went for Zaiqa's Breakfast buffet on a long weekend, Brunch actually . It's a halal place, well decorated and food... presentation is nice. Breakfast included goat paya, beef keema bhurji, egg bhurji, alu bhurji, cholay, sarsoon da saag, plainyogurt, suji halwa, onion, achar and tea. They served fresh naan and poori at table. Parata was not served, we haven't requestedthough. We liked the cholay, alu bhurji, egg bhurji and the beef keema, but goat paya was disappointing- watery, masala notproportionate, like something was missing. Expected a better tasting paya from a Pakistani place. To add to it, halwa was alsowatery, not tasty. However, Naan and puri were perfect! Finally, tasty tea made it all with a good ending. Probably it was nottheir best day. Only two people were seen working, one man in kitchen, coming out to the cash when someone paying the bill anda girl running around, refilling the food, serving naan, puris to the tables. She served 5 tables together when we started, managed well, Much appreciated! It's a spacious place. Needs some rearrange in sitting area for it's too congested. A fellowdiner recommended Zaiqa's karahi and mutton dishes. Hope to taste it some other day. Overall experience is good. Read more
One of the must-try restaurant in BC. They have all delicious Pakistani style dishes, fresh Naan, and Tea. Every word is full of... the tastes of Pakistan with Canadian custom service & culture. Lots of parking, inside and outdoor seating to enjoy the weather.Accessible for wheelchair customers. In the last few times, we enjoyed the food and a fantastic environment.???????????????????????? Very nice Halal Pakistani/Indian Restaurant. We have been here have couple of times. We did Dine-in and takeout as well. Both... experience were pretty good. We found food tasting very good especially their mutton items. Their Tandoori chicken and other BBQitems are good as well. The ambience is good and gives you a fine dining experience but the furniture & lighting may not be intheir best upkeep. They also have outdoor dining in the patio. Just had dinner with my mom here for the first time. An unplanned stop on the way looking for halal places in Surrey a random... selection totally worth it! - very pleased with the dining experience. Warm n welcoming hospitality. Delicious food exactly howwe expected keeping the true Lahori food in mind! Yum ???? really. Extensive manue. Fresh and with spices to match your tastebuds. We ordered Lahori Fish, Lahori Chargha, mango chicken karahi, butter chicken, Naan n whole wheat roti. CompletelySatisfied! If you ever in search of authentic lahori Pakistani food Zaiqa is the place. Plenty of parking. Clean n beautifuldecor.
