Had a takeout meal from here recently and everyone really enjoyed that. We decided to go for a sit down dinner and once again... was really pleased with the meal. The service we received was noteworthy; very attentive without being distracting, friendly andpolite, exactly as I like it. The location is a little unassuming, but it's easy to get in and out from all directions at apretty busy intersection, and there is easy parking. The place was nearly full, so I think the word is getting out and I hopethat means the restaurant will be around for a good long time. Looking forward to returning often. Read more
Good portions but food was okay. Prices were on the higher end for Thai food
One of the only places to serve truly authentic thai food. The entire team are thai, and offer several ?authentic? options to... their dishes. Having been to thailand a few times, most restaurants cater their dishes to north american tastes but Sabai trulyis a taste of thailand. Fantastic noodles, papaya salad, curries. Called for the lunch special and asked about gluten-free options and was reassured the pad Thai could be done gluten free.... Picked up my order and when I returned to work I opened it and saw a fried spring roll (which is all gluten). I called therestaurant and told them about the incident and was told that the roll had been in despite needing gluten free and they repliedthat they didn't realize it wasn't gluten free. With allergies (I made it clear it was not a preference), if staff offer foodoptions they should ensure that all staff are completely aware of what the allergen is and which items contain it.
