Got some sandwiches to go for a long ferry ride. They were some of the best sandwiches I?ve had in a long time, and it tasted... amazing even though it wasn?t eaten for a couple hours. :) Read more
Beautiful food! Great bread! However sometimes it?s so busy, it?s very unclear where to stand to purchase items. People seem to... be lining up all over the place. Even asking each other if they are in a line up. I left without purchasing my items, and so didanother customer. It was very frustrating and confusing. Read more
This is a gem of a deli. Our party had the Curry Chicken Sandwich with the cranberry mayo and the Chicken Salad Sandwich. ... The Curry Chicken was an enormous hit, especially the addition of the cranberry mayo, and he raved about it during our entirevisit to St. John's. The Chicken Salad was creamy and tasty. I also had the coffee, roasted in-house. It was perfection. Ihave travelled to other cities before with various and disastrous results in coffee cups. Newfoundland knows their coffee. Nowhere did I get a bad cup. Always fresh and smooth. This little deli was the top of the bunch. I bought another bag tobring home and will be ordering more. We got breaded chicken (halal) on sourdough, and the sandwich was delicious. We also tried one of the deserts (in cup!)- It was... fresh, soft and creamy but without much flavour. There?s was a bit of a line, despite it being 2:30 pm. This was unusual formanna at this time- they seemed maybe a little understaffed. Read more
