I had originally had just nachos here, and was not fully satisfied with my meal as once you eat the top layer of them there were... no more toppings for the rest of the chips. However, when I went back a couple days later, I got the grilled salmon. This wasone of the best salmon dishes I have had. It was cooked to perfection and had just enough salt on it. Note: The ketchup came ina plastic cup on the plate, which personally I am not a fan of since they no doubt do not use gloves when touching the cup thatis touching your food. Read more
Well this was a great place to pop into and grab some fish and chips. Nothing to shout about or slap a mother over, but the... chips were tasty and the fish very tasty. I enjoyed the tartar sauce and the coleslaw that accompanied the meal, it wasdelicious all around! I would like to return to try their other fare if I get another chance in life to travel to NFLD. Fourstars for the food and four stars for our special server, but one is removed for the haughty-snooty "greeter" who did no suchthing. Just ignored us the whole time we waited for a table and were were the only ones in line to get in. We finally got seatedby another server who saw us standing there. So, when you walk by, stop and have a meal! Good luck with their greeter though. Read more
Staff was excellent, I had the moose burger and was not disappointed, my wife had Jigs dinner and was really happy with it.... Something we both have never had before. Went upstairs to Birdie Molleys afterwards for the live music, and found it to be thebest on George st. Read more
