Since it?s in Newfoundland and I have been to other fish places I have to give it a 3-star. If this restaurant is in Toronto... I?ll give it a 4. I went to Ches?s next door and it?s a solid 5. The waiting time is very very long although there aren?t manycustomers. Food is semi burnt. The fish is soggy. Batter is also soggy. Staff not pleasant. Fries are so-so. Gravy has a burnttaste, it?s thick but it?s tasteless. Fish (cod) is good but the soggy batter ruins it. My suggestion is to go to Ches?s nextdoor instead. Ches?s is cheaper too. Read more
Lovely service and loved the salt and pepper shakers. Good portions. Flaked soft cod. Would have liked newer oil for the fry up.... But it's not so serious a gripe. A place like this is becoming rarer, knowing it's intimate, and a lot of patrons being greetexwith such familiarity. Read more
